Kissing You Goodbye

Gerard sobbed but, in a moment of almost insanity, cuddled up ti him, burying his bloodied face in his neck "I love you though" he whispered, falling asleep.

"Gerard, Gerard, get off him" their dad whispered, tugging at Gerard who was still hugging Mikey.

Gerard murmered in his sleep, clinging to Mikey. After so many years of being beaten and raped in jail the smell of his little brother was insanely comforting.

Mikey woke up with arms around him. He tried to pull them off and started panicking when they wouldn't let him go "Get off, p-please!" he shouted. He'd never liked being hugged from behind since that night he found Gerard wrapped around him and trying to enter him.

Gerard blinked awake and scrambled away "!I'm sorry!" he yelped, having foprgotten he was hugging Mikey.

Mikey stayed on the floor, trying to calm down as their father dragged Gerard away.

Gerard apoloigised constantly when his father let him go, feeling like shit for making his brother panic like that. He slumped onto the couch and waited for the telling off and shouting.

"What happened last night Gerard?" Donald asked quietly.

"I just... He beat me up then fell asleep and I hugged him., I knwo I shouldn't have but... it kept the nightmares away for once.

"He doesn't like to be touched Gerard" he said "He's been through enough theapry Gerard to last several people several life times, don't fuck it up, he's just starting to eat again" he warned.

Gerard whinced "I won't, i pormise" he mumbled "I-" he cut himself off, not daring to add that he'd like some help to cope with everyhting that ahd happened to him too.

"I what?" Donald asked

Gerard staredf at the floor "I never got any help for what I've gone through"

"What, touching your brother and landing yourself in jail? That was your own fault Gerard, you don't need help" he spat. Mikey came in a second later and froze "Get him out!" he yelled.

Gerard flinch "I didn't mean-" he shut up as Mikey came in, wincing at his yell "Mikey please" he whimpered.

"Don't even bother Gee" Mikey spat.

Gerard forced himself not to whimper and stared at the floor, wondering why he'd come home.

"Both of you to bed now" Donald said, waving them away.

"Why are you still here?" Mikey asked when he found Gerard downstairs the next morning.

Gerard looked up from his breakfast "I live here" he mumbled. As soon as he was sleeping away from Mikey his nightmares had returned witha vengeance.

"No, I live here, you're meant to be in jail" Mikey said.

"I finished my jail sentence" mumbled Gerard "I was hardly going to stay, being beaten and raped for eight years isn't fun"

Mikey slammed down the milk "You fucking asshole, being raped at all isn't fun. At least you pissing enjoyed it fag!" he yelled.

"I ahpepned to notice fucktard!" snapped Gerard "And You enjoyed it more than me bitch!" he yelled back.

Mikey lunged at him and kissed him "Asshole-fucking-hate-you-" he said between kisses.

Gerard tangled his hands in Mikeys hair and kissed him hard "love you too" he giggled.
