An overly smiled girl of about v18n walked in and clapped her hands "Ok troops! Into a circle!"

Frank sighed and walked over to the forming circle with Gerard

The woman smiled "Now, the usual excerciwe, she said, getting the teenagers into a rythmic clap "Thank you lord for making us survivors" she sang before passing the chant on tio each person in turn, each giving a different reason until it got to gerardm, where the chant abruptly stopped. "Way, I thought you were asked not to join our circle given your behaviour last week"

Gerard lowered his head.

Frank stood there awkwardly

the girl next to frank hissed "Pervert"

Gerardn whinced at the word "Sorry, I forgot"

Frank watched helplessly as Gerard left the circle and sat by himself. The chant continued and as soon as it was over Frank ran over to him "Gee, what happened?" he whispered

"I went against the lord will so I'm not allowed to join the prayer circles this week" he mumbled, scratching at the skin on his arms "I dont want the devil to get me"

Frank chuckled "Gee, the devil isn't going to get you. How did you go against the Lord's wishes?"

"He might if I'm nopt allowed into the prayer circles" he sobbed "and I did something bad"

Frank hugged him "What was that?"

Gerard took his wrist and silently lead him down to a wall with a "DO NOT ENTER" sign. He dragged hom along until there was a grate and a table. he clambered onto the table and gestured for Frank tio follow, pointg at the grate.

Frank looked through the grate and saw a load of half naked teenage girls and a few younger ones "Ew!" he gagged, looking away "This is what you did? You spied on some girls?"

"NMo" gerard smirked "This is what i did" He made sure Frank was pearing through then smakcked the grate oos it fell open "PERV ALERT" he yelled before jumping off the table and ryunning down the hall.

Frank yelled after him and tried to run but was caught by a youth guard guy "P-Please sir, it wasn't m-me"

Gerard was leaning against the wall, trying to loo like he'd been minding his own business.

The guard raised an eyebrow "Whow as it then?"

"G-Gerard Way"

Gerards eyes widened and he looked dterrified as the guard grabbed his shoulder "I should have known" he snapped "Right. We'll see to you both in the assembly tomorrow. Go to your dorm"

Frank followed Gee with his head down "What happens in assembly?" he whispered, grabbing Gerard's wrist

Gerard bit his lip "You'kll fine out" was his only response. The next day they were pulled aside before going in forced to stand on the space inf ront of a mass of student ages 4-18. The head asked any girls who ahd been affected to step forward. Gerard wanted to protest when 30 odd people stepped forward, tell them there had been about six in the room, but kept his mouth shut.

"Now, As this is ieros first offense I think one slash each. Mr Way on the other hand is a repeated sinner so each girl may give him three" he said as two other teenagers bound the two boys ato a sort fo 'frame'.

Frank struggled and protested

The head igfnored him.

Gerard rgitted his teeth as his shirt was rtaised and the first lash fell across his back. After three the girl stepped back "The lord forgives you" and moved on to give Frank his single lash before passing the whip to the next girl.

The girl did the same and moved on. Frank was already screaming and sobbing "Let him go!" he yelled

Gerard was silent, welts appearing on his already scarred back. By the time ten had gone past he'd already taken 30 lashes and was starting ti bleed. He had to be taken down after eighty when they realised he was going to pass out.

They continued wippign Frank until they let him down and just left him to sob on the stage floor. The priest blessed them and then annouced the assembly over.

A pairt of teenage boys dragged them to their feet and took them through to the medical wing.

Gerard ley on his front on one of the 'beds' and finally let out a choked sob.
