Palace In Flames

In cardalia, the remains of a country once called England, the city is run by the New Order royal family and the Cardinal.
The royals family consists of of the King and his abused son, Gerard.
Frank is a member of the resistance, and also the boy Gerard falls in love with on a visit out from the castle.

"Gerard, you aren't going out, there are peasants out there" the king said "They could kill you".

"Watch me!" snapped Gerard, mountingn his horse. He kicked off and left withotu another word, slowing diown outside the castle gates and dismounting, tyuing the horse up. He swept his hair out of his face and started to walk through ther street.

Frank stopped. There was the Prince just walking down the street like he did it every day. "H-Hey" he said as they crossed paths.

Gerard gave a small nod but gave frank a second glance, eyes resting on the stunning young man for a few seconds before he snapped back to his senses. He stopped at aq stall sellling various fruits and vegetables.
"Excuse me" he adressed the stall holder, his regal accent demanding authority "Can you give me directions to the town hall"

"Just over there" the stallholder said, pointing down the street "I wouldn't go there sir, its a big rebel base, lots of shifty people knocking about" he continued, not realizing that Gerard was the prince.

"Hey guys, guess who I saw in the street?" Frank shouted as he went into the secret area of the town hall.

"Go on" smirked Bob for teh corner, downing his beer.

Gerard gave a small smile and nodded "Well, then I'll take my horse in case I need to get away" he said. Walking back the way he'd came. He untioed his steed and set opff for the town hall, needing to bring back certain papers for the king. once tehre he slowed to a trot, enjoying his status above common people.

"The fucking Prince dude!" Frank grinned, waving his arms about to show how important it was "I never realized how hot he looked".

Bob sneered, the general look running around the room "He's a fucking vampire, he needs to be staked not adored! or are yuou someone who trusts the monarchy and teh cardinal now?"

Gerard had just dismouinted and entered the hall. His footseps caused thuds above the heads of the rebels.

"Doesn't mean he isn't hot" Frank said, looking up at the pounding footsteps above them "I bet that's him" he said, racing up the stairs.
"Hello sir, how can I help-" Ray said at the desk "Take 10 minutes off Toro, I'll take over" Frank inturputed, pushing Ray away.
"Hey" he said to Gerard.

Gerard cleared his throat slightly "Hello, I need to retrieve a series of documents for my father on the districts wealth and tax" he drawled.

"Sure" Frank said, a little taken back. "Isn't this like you first time out of the palace? Why don't you like...get drunk or something instead of doing shit for your dad?" he said with his back to Gerard as he rooted through the files.

Gerard looiked witha sn erering eye at his surroundings "We have an am0ple supply of alchohol back at the palace, and I care far too much for my health."

"Well, what an exicting life you lead, sir" Frank said, handing him his files "Y'know, I get a break now, do you want me to show you around? I know a good pub".

Gerard managed a tight smile "I really must get back" he murmered, placing the document s in his bag "But I suppose I can take five or ten miniutes. No taverns though"

"Its not a tavern mate, its a pub" Frank said, stepping out from behind the desk and leading Gerard out.

Gerard stepped out with him, Leaving the papers in his horses saddle bags and checking the clock.

"So...what's it like being a vampire?" Frank said as he led him around town.

Gerard blinked "Well, what's it like being a human?" he countered, continuing to walk. He looked around suspiciously whenm Frank led him down an alley.

"Pretty sucky" Frank muttered, spinning around when a crash came from the other end of the alley "Bob?" he called, putting a protective arm before Gerard. No fucking way was he getting killed from not helping the prince.

Gerards eyes widened, irises going black as his vampire senses took effect "Who's there?!"

"Just, don't eat them sir, please" Frank said as someone rushed forward behind Gerard and smashed him over the head with a mental bar. "Holy fuck, Bob!" Frank shouted.

Gerard cried out and stmbled, falling to his hands and knees.

The other rebels joined in, pushing Frank away and kicking and punching Gerard, sometimes hitting him with the bar.

Gerard tried to lash out, tried to figth back, but sioon found himself curled on the floor in poain,.
