Mastermind -Frerard-

"Fine" Frank said, tears rolling freely down his face "Fuck you Gerard Way" and he stormed out.

He didn't see Gerard for a whole week until 3 days before Halloween.

Gerard came into school lookibng even moremurderously insane than usual. Hus skin had gotten sickly pale, dark shadows lay under his eyes and his coat flapped aroundhis legs loosley. His hair was agreasy tangled mess and he didn;t seem to care that half the chool was staring at him.

"Gee, are-are you okay?" Frank asked tentivly in Maths.

"Fine" croaked Gerard, glancing at Frank. Close up you could see the evidence of fading burising on hi face, eyes red with recent tears.

"What the fuck happened to your face?" Frank said, eyes widening with worry and shock. Even though they were both unpopular, it was rare anyone would actually beat them up to the extent someone had done to Gerard; it was mostly just a few punches and kicks and some verbal insult that took a little while to heal but Gee's bruises were purple and yellow in some places. Gerard's face was really bad.

Gerard looked back down at his art work, sketch8ing around the middle of the page "You knew what my parents would do" was all he said.

Frank almost fell off his stool "Oh God Gee...I'm sorry" he said, hugging him carefully from the side, tears forming up "Shame we can't shoot them too" he whispered with a mock laugh.

Gerard kept his head low, trying not to cry "I've been locked in the basement for am week Frank, why didn;t you check on me?"

"I don't fucking know Gee. I was so pissed off at you and..." he mumbled "I'm sorry".

Gerard was fighting ard not t cry now "It doesn;t matter anyway, there won;'t BE a fucking shooting"

"What do you mean?" Frank asked, squeezing him in an attempt to comfort him.

Gerrad jut shrugged "There's no point, it's all futile" he whispered "Besides, i wont be alive by then"

"No".

Gerard just shrugged, putting his pen ack in his bag "Fine, but even if I'm alive my parents will have probably taken my guns"

"Keep them at mine?" Frank suggested

Gerard shrugged, standing up "I-I should just ive up Frank. There's no point doing this."

Frank pulled him down as everyone else filed out of class "Why not?"

"There just isn't. There's no pont to anything" he started to cry, burying his face in his hands and tears escaped him for the first time since he was four.

Frank hugged him close "Come on Gee, it'll be fun".

Gerard pushed him away, ashamed of crying.

"Gerard fucking Way, man the fuck up!" Frank shouted, finally fed up with how pathetic he was being "We are going to do this and you are not going to fucking cry anymore, got it?" he yelled

Gerrd wiped his face and glowered and Frank "Fuck you! I'll do it and you'll be the fucking first to go Franklin!"

"TRY IT!!" he screamed, jumping on Gerard and trying to scratch out his eyes.

Gerard pushed him away and stamped hard on the youngers ribs until he heard a sickening rack and was pulled away by a teacher who had just rushed in. He had blood running down his face from the deep scratch wounds Frank ahd inflicted.

Frank couldn't move because of what he was certain was several broken ribs. He spat the blood out of his mouth "Fuck you Way" he managed through the pain.
