They went back to base; Frank throwing Jeph in his new cell just as he woke up. "If you want to talk to him, you're going to have to put this on" he said, handing Gerard a rabbit mask

Gerard stared at the mask a familiar sick feeling rising in his stoamch "Will I always feel sick when I see one?"

"I don't know...maybe" Frank mumbled, walking away

Gerard pulled it on and walked into the cell that had been his for so long.

Jeph scrambled away "F-F-Fuck off!"

Gerard was silent as he walkeed over and held Jephs hand still before straddling him to keep him still.

Jeph only struggled more "Ge-Get off!"

"Shhh" gerard husged, stroking hsi wrists.

"Who are you? Where am I?"

"You're... here." he said quietly "And it's me, Jeph I swearn I wont let anyone hurt you"

"G-Gee?" Jeph sobbed

Gerard whinced and nodded, pulling him into a hug "I'm so sorry I-I just didn't want them to hrut me"

"What is this place?"

"I-I'm not sure. all I know is that they keep you down here and then afetr a while you become... one of them"

Jepha's eyes were wide "W-What do they do? I don't want to be one of them!"

Gerard held him "Shh, shh it's ok, when that happens you mgiht have to bring in a new person but that's it I swaer" he whimpered "I havent had to do anything"

"What will they do to me?"

"I dont know" admitted gerard "But I'll try and find a way to stop you being hurt, I promise"

Jepha whimpered and nodded

Gerard held him, stroking his hair and shushing him quietly.

Schecter knocked on the door and barged in "Get out Way, I need to see him"

Gerard gave Jeph a reassuring squeeze before hurriedly leaving.
