If I Burn pt 2

Gerards heart broke a little more "You're-you're lying" he whimpered, crying even more "He-He loves me, HJe's gonna come bck, he always comes back" he sobbed.

"Fraid not" Mikey muttered "Being dead and all, I can see into the future...he never comes back"

Gerard sopbbed "Then-Then i have to go-go find him" he managed, struggling to his feet and shaking. The thought o going outside terrified him, but he needed Bert more than anyone.

"Good luck"

Gerard whimpered but went downstairs, pulling on his almost unworn boots and coat and heading out, freezing almost immedistly at the sound of traffic and people, wanting to run back inside and hide curling under his bed.

Mikey floated next to him "Come on Gee, its not that hard"

Gerard bit his lip and nodded, forcing himself to keep walking. Maybe Bert would be impressed, he though, he'd be happy to see how Gerard had confronted his fears of outside to find him, he'd be impressed and come back to him...

"Do you even know where he's gone?"

"Qu-Wuinns" Gerard stammered out. he'd only been once before, and of course spent the whole time shaking and crying.

Mikey floated behind him

Gerard forced himself to walk, head downand hands in his pockets. He eventually walked up to Quins door and knocked weakly.

Quinn answered "Hello?"

"H-H-Hey" Gerard stam,mered "Is-Is Bert here?"

"Oh, one sec - BERT!" he yelled behind him "Do you want to come in?" he said, stepping aside

Gerard stepped in nervously, only managing to relax ever so slightly before Bert came through.

"Quinn, give us a minute" he muttered, waving him away "What do you want?" he growled

Gerard shook slightly, trying to hold back tears "P-P-Pleas coem home"

Bert pushed him "Fuck off! Face it, its over!"

Gerard stumbled and whimpered "Please Bert, i love you, i'll do anything"

"Go away!"

Gerard started to cry "Please, i need you"

"Well I don't need you" Bert pushed him outside "Leave us alone and never come back!" he shouted as he slammed the door shut.
"That went spiffingly don't you think?" Mikey smirked as he appeared next to Gerard

Gerard just sobbed, sliding down to sit against the wall "Why?! Why does that guy get to be with him and not me? I-I could've learnt to behave" he whimpered, not daring to say what he'd noticed about the other man not having the scars or bruises that covered Gerards body.

Mikey shrugged "Who cares? Get over it"

"I care" whimpered Gerard "I dont have anyone without him, you're dead and I dont have the courage to meet new people"
